How much is it going to cost to fix my gutters or roof?

What brand of materials do you install?
We have access to a variety of industry leading brands, so depending on your budget and requirements, we’ll recommend the best one for you.
How much will a roof restoration cost?
The roof area, ease of access, accessories and flashings are some of the factors to consider when determining the cost of a roof restoration.
Do we need to move out during the job?
No. usually you can go about your daily routine, we need access to the roof and it’s helpful if pets and children are kept away from the work area. All we need is access to electricity and water
My roof is starting to rust, should I replace the sheets affected or get the entire roof replaced?
If your roof is rusting it’s probably because the coating has worn off exposing the bare metal to the elements. You can repair or replace the sheets however it might be more cost effective to replace the entire roof. Call us to discuss the options and arrange a free onsite quote.
My roof tiles are starting to become brittle/ some have cracked what should I do?
When roof tiles are brittle the best course of action may be to replace your roof, it is costly to constantly maintain a tile roof. Call us to discuss the pros and cons of the various options available
Do we use flexible pointing?
Yes, flexible pointing is a sand and acrylic compound that extends the life of the cement under your ridges. It has flexibility to move with the natural motions of your roof.
What are weep holes?
A weep hole is a hole placed in the top ridge pointing every 30cm that allows water to escape. Weep holes are needed because the cement used is porous and water builds up behind the cement when there is heavy rain or storms.
Does painting my roof seal it?
Painting a cement tile roof or glazing a terracotta tile roof not only restores the colour of the tile, it helps protect or seal the tile so the absorption rate is halved. Cement roof tiles are designed to absorb 21% of its mass and terracotta roof tiles absorb 17%.
What is a fascia board?
The fascia board is the long, straight board the runs along the longer edge of the roof. They hold the gutters in place and protect the edges of the roof.

Steve and his team did a fabulous job, I was away working whilst the work was in process , but saw the progress for each of the first two days in the... evening and on the third day the final touches were done. The work looks first rate and all of the old gutter was removed very neatly without any drama or mess. It was a pleasure to deal with Steve who was very friendly and accommodating, plus the price was considerably cheaper than that quoted by a rival company. Steve, Andy and his team were absolutely fantastic to deal with throughout the entire roof replacement process. Initially, Steve provided an... excellent priced quote for a colourbond roof, then an agreed start date was organised. Andy and his team arrived at 7am on the start date and swiftly got on with the job.They also tackled another tricky job when replacing the roof; altering and replacing an existing previously poorly installed guttering issue by another plumber. Their solution was excellent and we were very impressed!Photos were taken whilst they were on the roof throughout the build and texted to me to show me their progress, which was much appreciated. Final cleanup was thorough and pleasing. I would highly recommend this company, not only for their professionalism but their very high standard of workmanship.read more

Steve was very punctual with coming to assess our roofing situation. He discussed with me every aspect of the job required for the replacement of our... very old tin roof.This all happened at a particularly busy time for Steve's company and he kept me up to date with the preparation of the job. Once it started it was a very slick operation completed within 4 days. I wasn't there during the day but saw the results of progress each afternoon. Our roof looks amazing, we had over 70 cracked tiles, they replaced those and the roof needed re pointing as well as it was flaking and damaged. ... Due to weather it took a few weeks and to ensure it looked perfect Matty & the team delayed works but kept us in the loop all the time, but it was worth wait. Our roof looks brand new.
